CAMERA ANGLES

Hello! Today Im going to be talking about camera angles.

What is a camera angle?

Any angle and movement when you are using to take a picture is used to create a sequences of images, just as words, word order and punctuation combine to make the meaning of a sentence. You need a straightforward set of key terms to describe them.

CAMERA ANGLES:

HIGH ANGLE:

A high - angle shot  is a cinematic technique where the camera looks down on the subject from a high angle and the point of focus often gets "swallowed up".

LOW ANGLE: The camera looks up at someone.

CANTED ANGLE: The camera is at a standed angle.

Hello blogger! in here, Im going to be posting information about camara work after a film.
you have to know that it need different angles, shoots, and also diferent types of movements.

Typical things you need to know to create a good film:

Camera shots:

1. Establishing shot: An establishing shot in filmmaking and television production sets up, or establishes the context for a scene by showing the relationship between its important figures and objects.

2. Long shot: In photography, filmmaking and video production, a long shot typically shows the entire object or human figure and is usually intended to place it in some relation to its surroundings.

3. Mid shot: Medium shots are favored in sequences where dialogues or small group of people are acting, as they give the viewer a partial view of the background.

4. A close-up shot:  Or closeup in filmmaking, television production, still photography and the comic strip medium is a type of shot, which tightly frames a person or an object.

5. Over the shoulder shot: Is a shot of someone or something taken from the perspective or camera angle from the shoulder of another person.

6. Master shot: Is a film recording of an entire dramatized scene, from start to finish, from an angle that keeps all the players in view.

7. Aerial shot:  Is the taking of photographs of the ground from an elevated, direct-down position. Usually the camera is not supported by a ground-based structure.

8. Extreme close-up shot :Is traditionally used in film to allow the viewer to enter the characters intimate space, revealling certain characteristics and emotions that would otherwise go unnoticed from afar.

FICTION MOVIE

WHAT IS A FICTION MOVIE?

Is a film that tells a ficitional story. In this style of film, believable narratives and characters help convince the audience that the unfolding ficition is real. Lighting and camera movement, and other cinematic elements have become important in this films.

I would like to say, that the picture at the right, is one of my favourites science fiction films. Is called "Avatar".

BEST FICTION MOVIES

Because I want our movie to be a really good movie, I am going to investigate now which are the best ficiton movies for the audience. I am going to put in here 5 of them:

1. METROPOLIS

This film is one of the most formatives works of science fiction of all time, and its imagery remains potent nearly 80 years later. Metropolis remains a source of fascination, but is also the source of much of the work that comes after it.

2. FRANKESTEIN

This movie gave birth to much of the imagery that we still associate with "mad scientist" to this date. Frankesteins monster will be always the definite version to most people.

3. STAR WARS: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK

This is the first of three sequels that came out in the early 1980s that were better than the films they followed but which also innovated in a way that their precursors didnt. Not that the Original Star Wars wasnt innotative - it was, in many ways including its breathtaking effects it fresh take on Western and Samurai themes and its exhilerating approach to space opera.

4. THE INCREDIBLES

It took immense self, control not to load this list up with a ton of films from the Pixar guys. But The Incredibles is arguably the best Pixar film and the best superheroe film, of all. this film takes the mythos of the Fantastic Four and the mashes it up with a bit of Watchmen.

5. THE MARTIAN

This is a brutal, immerse film about surviving away from Earth. Buth its also wonderful celebration of the ingenuity and cleverness of a man whos stranded alone on Mars and has to figure out how to survive by his wits alone. The humor and desperation make this movie a rollercoaster ride, as much as its thrilling visuals.

FILM GENRES:

Hello ! Today in my class, we are researching about film genres in films.
Im going to show you the different of types there is:

ACTION: "Action" is a film genre in which the protagonist or protagonists end up in a series of challenges that typically include violence , close combat, physical feats and frantic chases. Action films tend to feature a resourceful hero struggling against incredible odds, which include life-threatening situations, a villain, or a pursuit which generally concludes in victory for the hero.

ADVENTURE: "Adventure" it is a genre of film. Unlike actions films they often use their actions scenes, preferably to display and explore exotic locations in an energetic way.

COMEDY: "Comedy" it is a genre of film in which the main emphasis is on humour. Theses films are designed to make the audience or person laugh through amusement and most often work by exaggerating characteristics for humorous effect.

DRAMA: "Drama" it is a genre of film. All forms of cinema and television that involve fictional stories are forms of drama in the broader sense if their storytelling is achieved by means of actors who represent characters. In this broader sense, drama is amode distinct from novels, short stories, and narrative poetry or songs.

HORROR: "Horror" it is a film genre seeking to elicit a negative emotional reaction from viewers by playing on the audience´s primal fears. The macabre and the supernatural are the frequent themes, and may overlap with the fantasy, supernatural fiction and thriller genres.

WAR: "War" it is a film genre concerned with warfare, typically about naval, air, orland battles in the twentieth century, with combat scenes central to the drama. The fateful nature of battle scenes means that war films often end with them. Themes explored include combat, survival and escape, sacrifice the futility and inhumanity of battle, the effects of war on society, and the moral and human issues raised by war.

MEET MY TEAM

In my class, we are 5 people, but we are divided into 2 groups, one of 3, and the other with 2 people. Im only working with Candela, who I know her since primary, so I cant act naturally, because I have lot of faith with her. Candelas father is english, so is another advantage to help us with any translation. We are thinking about doing a horror film, but we need more time to think about that. We hope you like it!
